International media Support (IMS) is a non-profit organisation working to support media in countries affected by armed conflict, human insecurity and political transition. Across four continents, IMS helps to strengthen professional journalism and ensure that media can operate in challenging circumstances.

IMS is seeking a motivated and dynamic Head of Rapid Response to coordinate IMS’ rapid response interventions and drive the further development and institutionalisation of our rapid response methodology. The Head of Rapid Response will report to IMS’ Deputy Director, Director of Programme Strategy and Development and will work closely with colleagues from across IMS’ geographical departments.
