BBC News in Brussels is looking for news producer to join the team. You will contribute to the production of reports for TV, radio and online tailored for different audiences. You will be asked to spot stories from a wide range of sources.You’ll help deliver engaging original text and video for digital platforms.  You’ll need to be interested in a wide range of political, economic, social and cultural stories from across Europe.

Profile

• relevant experience in journalism and a clear understanding of the demands of a multi-platform news environment;
• comfortable with digital news and social media platforms – both as a source of stories and as a place for our journalism;
• some existing skills in filming or editing video and audio;
• to be technically capable and excited to learn more with the BBC;
• flexibly and availability to travel within Europe is often expected at short notice;
• fluent English speaker; fluency in other European languages is a distinct advantage.

You will need to have the right to work legally in Belgium and other EU countries.
